In 1999, the Baccalaureate Education Assessment Package was developed to address growing concerns in BSW education for tracking students over time from entrance into the Program to two years after graduation. The entire package consists of now six instruments:

• Entrance Survey
• Foundation Curriculum Assessment Instrument @ Entrance
• Exit Survey
• Foundation Curriculum Assessment Instrument @ Exit
• Field Placement/Practicum Assessment Instrument
• Graduate Survey
• Employer/Supervisor Survey

Full information packages were mailed to all accredited BSW programs and in-candidacy BSW programs in December, 1999, and supplies of instruments and instructional manuals were mailed to programs who placed orders for them beginning in January, 2000. As of February, 2000, the first set of completed instruments were received, thus formally initiating the project.

When submitting completed instruments, please complete the online BEAP DATA Summary Report for your program, and submit it electronically. Then, send hard copies of all original scannable forms to: Becky Lubbers at (becky.lubbers@socwk.utah.edu). (Electronic online instruments, of course, will be submitted instantaneously as they are completed.) The entire package consists of six instruments.
